In fact, the data has been offered in the 32nd Edition of the ‘Transport Market Monitor’, prepared by Capgemini Consulting with the collaboration of Transporeon.
In addition, the capacity index has fallen by 41.7% in these three months and stands at 65.8 points, which is the lowest level of the last seven years after experiencing the largest quarterly decline in this period.
The company has indicated that “it will be interesting to see if the capacity will remain so low in the third quarter, in order to avoid the decrease in the price that has been normal in recent years.”
In fact, the most notable fall in capacity and the increase in prices occurred between March and April, while the capacity has been drastically reduced and has rebounded slightly in May and June.
